Safety First!
Our children are back in school and whether it is their introductory year or their tenth, security and safety in school is a prerequisite for effective learning. Threats may arise from natural or environmental hazards like storms, floods, fires or ice or from human actions like bullying, vandalism, or even building maintenance or chemical exposure.
Luckily, many people are involved in the area of safety awareness and security in our schools. Even though schools make every effort to provide a safe environment for our children, as parents we are the first and primary teachers to our children about safety issues.
