Montreal Day Trips
Take a cruise through the 1000 island region and enjoy many of the local attractions. Cruises depart from the town of Gananoque, Ontario which is about a 2.5 hour drive from Montreal.

Located at the west end of Montreal, this educational wildlife park is a great family friendly destination. Open every day except Christmas. This zoo has over 100 animals including deer, caribou, snakes and bears. A gem of the West Island.

The old site of Montreal’s Expo 67 World’s Fair it now includes a wide variety of activities that could easily occupy a complete day. Long Sault Beach is part of the St. Lawrence Parks system just west of Cornwall, Ontario. Ninety minutes from Montreal, this beach and picnic area is ideal for a family outing. Camping facilities are available for longer stays.

1000 Chemin des Voyageurs
Primarily known as a ski resort, Mont Tremblant now provides outdoor activities year round. Hiking, golfing, and a variety of water activities are available. Mont Tremblant Village also offers a large number of shopping and eating options.

Mount Orford Parc is a 60 square kilometre nature area in the Eastern Townships. The park is an excellent destination for Canoeing, Golfing, Cycling, Hiking and Backpacking.

This park, a popular day trip destination, is less than a one hour drive from Montreal. It offers bike trails, hiking, a beach area and camp grounds.
Old Montreal offers a collection of fun family activities including the Science Museum, an IMAX Theatre, short cruises around the harbour and jet boating in the Lachine Rapids.
