If you are looking for a fun winter family activity tobogganing is a great inexpensive option. Here are a few sites where you can go tobogganing on the West island.

This is a fairly steep hill with moguls that could make tobogganing a challenge for smaller children. Once you arrive in the parking lot there is a short path on the right side which takes you to the hill.

This location has a gentle slope which makes tobogganing suitable for all ages. It could get quite busy on weekends and holidays. You can access the site either from Cartier Avenue or from Avenue Du Golf.

This is one of two hills suitable for tobogganing at this location. The slope is gentle and suitable for all ages. There's a chalet right nearby where you can go in and warm up. They usually have a fire going in the fireplace. You can also do cross-country skiing on over 10 km of trails if you wish. Use of the park is free but there is a charge for parking.
